Sep 11, 2019Even when he is stretching the boundaries of his sound, as he does in several places on “Hollywood’s Bleeding,” the results feel the opposite of experimental. When you’re an omnivore taking a mortar and pestle to six decades of pop music history and turning it into a smooth slurry, it’s nigh impossible to shock. ... Whatever someone might be hoping to find is in there somewhere. Post Malone is emotional tofu, a skill, not an accident. ... His ambiguity is of an elevated, refined sort.
Sep 6, 2019As Post tries new sounds on for size, some git better than others. Sometime it feels as though he’s still trying to figure this out as he goes. But it’s when he keeps things simple and goes beyond the clichés that he feels most like himself. ... Hollywood’s Bleeding is a playlist made for these times. It’s going to be huge.
Sep 18, 2019More well-executed than his previous releases and undeniably catchy, Hollywood's Bleeding is a huge step forward for the guarded superstar, one that doesn't sacrifice the essential elements that made him such a surprise hitmaker, and pushes him even further into the pop-savvy landscape where he belongs.
Sep 9, 2019Post Malone still provides us with a sprinkling of the classics: bitches, butts and Millie on wrists, it’s appeasing. But for the most part, he created an insightful and eclectic record which is a testament to his versatility and willingness to do exactly what he wants.

The lyricism he shows in this album is on a much higher level than his previous albums, it's a much more cohesive album with a lot of inspiration from different genres. It seems like Post was having fun making this album. It's a dark and gloomy album and it fits him perfectly. I especially liked: Hollywood's Bleeding, Circles and Allergic. But the most amazing song on this album has to be "Take What You Want" featuring Ozzy Osbourne and Travis Scott. Never in my life did I think I would see this mix of artists, and never in my life did I think it would be so powerful and amazingly put together, gives me goosebumps. I hope Posty continues in this vein, and just does what he thinks is most fun. That's when his musicianship really shines through. My favourite Post Malone album to date. 9.5/10… Expand

This being his most diverse album, Post has quite possibly solidified his status as a hit maker with a vision; a vision that includes stories to tell and messages to send. The highlights include Hollywood’s Bleeding, Saint-Tropez, Enemies ft. DaBaby, Allergic, Die For Me ft. Future & Halsey, On the Road ft. Meek Mill & Lil Baby, Take What You Want ft. Ozzy Osbourne & Travis Scott, I’m Gonna Be, Staring at the Sun ft. SZA, Sunflower w/Swae Lee, Internet, Goodbyes ft. Young Thug, Myself, I Know, and “Wow.”; honestly. 9/10 = A… Expand

Oct 5, 2019This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Astronomically better than Stoney, but not as good as b&B. This album comes with very damn good cuts with interesting collaborations but it also has a lot of songs that feel like fillers like "Internet", "I Know", "Saint-Tropez"(one of the worst songs in this album alongside Internet), Sunflower (which felt so out of place), Myself and Wow. That's my only complaint about the record. The rest of the songs, specially Take What You Want, Hollywood's Bleeding, Circles and Allergic are are excellent.… Expand
