MachineGames continues to raise the overall level of the Wolfenstein franchise, although it could have taken more advantage of the cooperative and there is excessive grinding.

Wolfenstein Youngblood takes a different approach than previous Wolfenstein installments. Co-op instead of solo-adventuring and a bigger emphasis on exploring. Aside from some small hickups with stealth and enemies, it's a blast from beginning to end.

The Blazkowicz sisters steal the show in a bite-sized co-op FPS spin-off that packs a hell of a punch, further invigorating the Wolfenstein franchise.

It breaks my heart a little to slap a relatively low score on this. Both The New Order and The New Colossus were fantastic reinventions of a venerated gaming franchise, delivering satisfying gunplay with surprisingly touching narrative hooks. Youngblood still has that great feel, it’s just wrapped up in a co-op focused bubble which detracts from the traditional flow of the game.

Wolfenstein: Youngblood disappoints because Wolfenstein 2 was much more than a good shooting game. Youngblood is not. Though there are enough moments where the fast gameplay impresses and the co-op entertains, the game disappoints in almost everything else.

If you're looking for combat, which I imagine most fans of a dystopian Nazi-killing game would be, look the other way. Likewise, if you're looking for a great co-op experience to try out with a friend, prepare yourself for disappointment. And if you do end up buying this game, for the love of all that is holy, please turn on your own music.

If you like looter-shooter games with some grinding, this game is for you. It’s basically Wolfenstein meets The Division and the microtransactions are just for cosmetics and can be easily avoided just by playing. I really don’t know what’s wrong with you people. Maybe I’m getting old, maybe most of the world population who is able to write on a website is just plain stupid Expand

The very idea someone got paid hard currency to write this trash fire is painful to think about.

And this is just the topping for the worst elements of looter-shooter gameplay without any of the actual loot. But hey, there is pay to win items jammed in because of course there is. This is Bethesda after all.

I got it for free and I feel like I got scammed. They bathesded this thing broken. I got mine in German. I mailed them and they said no worries they can help me. Then said they can't help. What game comes in a single language. Anyway deleted the game, deleted my account and won't touch anything else bathesda in future. There pure laziness or unwillingness to help left a bad taste in my mouth. Seems like tod has hot the bottom of his little barrel. 16 times the res. It just works:) Expand

Lucky i din't buy this because i saw the twin in the trailer and it wasn't good enough for me to go for it.I don't mind linear game path as long as the game is engaging. Good story with meaningful dialogues and cut scenes are the catalysts that keeps me coming back for more until this YoungBlood came out. This game has micro-transaction ?! What the f is this bethesda jumping onto the ea bandwagon? I am out, Bethesda, for good this time. You haven proven to be easily swayed by SJWs. Very sad and disappointing! Expand
