The biggest let down comes in the online play and horrid connections.

The combat is beautiful and flashy enough to make any fighting game or JRPG fan feel satisfied and while the graphics may seem a bit stiff, none of that matters during the fast-paced matches where you'll probably pay more attention to the ratio between your HP bar and your enemy's. Jump force allows players to finally answer those age-old questions, such as Who would win in a fight between Goku and Naruto Uzumaki?, which have been the subject of debates in forum discussions, memes or video commentaries, and that alone should be enough of a reason to make fans of the genre interested in the game.

Jump Force is a worthy celebration of the legacy of Shonen Jump manga, but it honors its source material a little too well with how filler-heavy the middle of its story arc is.

40 playable characters and a huge fan service isn't enough for a fighting game. The game is technically disappointing with confusing camera management and a screen that often overdoses with visual effects.

An epic clash between the some of manga’s most famous characters shouldn’t be this dull, frankly.

Despite having 50 years of legacy to work from, this manga mash-up feels like a rush job. The combat offers basic fun, but as a complete package Jump Force proves to be a flop.

While a fighting game featuring a wide variety of Weekly Shonen Jump characters seems like a no-brainer, the shoddy execution and surprisingly limited roster hinder JUMP FORCE from being the all-star it wants to be.

It could have been a perfect 10 it it weren;t for the lazy animations. It's a good fightng game similar to UNS4.

The history is poor, but the multiplayer is pretty decent especially if you are a big fan of Shonen Jump's series.
Don't buy it for the full price.

I love Naruto, Goku and Luffy but not this game. The fighting is fun... at first, the missions are repetitive. It feels like something's not right. Like a piece of the game is missing and might show up in some dlc or something. I'm not impressed Shonen. I feel like Dragon ball Xenoverse 1 and 2 were way more fun and interesting. Expand

    Shame, shame, shame!

This is kinda late but i think i should share my experience.

So overall, this is what the game is:
    - Just like SAO:FA, you're pretty much the star of the game. While it has better cutscenes, but sometimes the cutscene in the game is straight up awkward, like the part when the "villains" in the game tried to escape, there will be 2 ways of escaping, just walked to other direction or float slowly into a portal. Which pretty much sums up that they completely lazy to add some animation for their escaping animation.

    - Is it just me or the majority of the main villains' face is pretty much look like they came from Dragon ball's world, *Spoiler* like the director and his Villainy form, Prometheus?

    - Mass Effect Andromeda's lip sync looks better than this game btw

    - 40 jump characters plus 3 DLC characters is pretty good, though i feel like they don't do anything that would help you progress the story or online pvp

    - Story is bland, it's too shonen and there is no multiple ending like what they previously do in SAO:FB

    - A lot of issues, like seriously, A LOTS OF THEM

    - Fight system is pretty bland, you have to make your own combo with ability from different characters the game has to offer, though the enemies just gonna spam your abilities or block everything. Oh, don't forget that everytime you do a progress, the AI still superior both tactics and damage, don't expect too much from your HP, it will drain faster than your enemy AI's HP

    - Play this with your lights on, the graphics is too Flashy, also seizure alert

Conclusion: If you're a Jump fan or simply looking for anime game, i do not recommend this game. but if you insist, go ahead.
