Katy Keene NEW Trailer Drama CW 8p
The CW's final newcomer this season is a Greg Berlanti-produced spinoff from Riverdale focusing on four twentysomethings pursing fame in New York City. Pretty Little Liars' Lucy Hale stars as the title character, an aspiring fashion designer who befriends Riverdale character and would-be singer-songwriter Josie McCoy (Ashleigh Murray, who is leaving Riverdale as a result). Jonny Beauchamp and Julia Chan play the other two young artists in their orbit. Expect Katy Keene to have a much lighter tone than its sister show—and, since Keene takes place about five years after Riverdale, don't expect any crossovers between the two shows (though producers aren't ruling out showing glimpses of one or more Riverdale characters as they would appear five years later).

Taking over for Bless the Harts for the remainder of the current season is another new animated comedy, this one from the Parks and Recreation team of Amy Poehler and Mike Scully (along with Julie Thacker Scully, who has worked on The Simpsons). It follows the adventures of a "spectacularly average" 15-year-old boy named Duncan, voiced by Poehler. Rashida Jones, Ty Burrell, and Wiz Khalifa fill out the main voice cast, while the animation comes from Bento Box, the studio behind Fox's Bob’s Burgers.
